Polycrystalline photovoltaic panels consist of cells made of polycrystalline silicon and their surface is irregular. These links are light blue and have a rectangular or square shape. These modules have a lower power factor than monocrystalline panels. Polycrystalline panels are a cheaper solution than monocrystalline panels. If part of the monocrystalline panel is contaminated with dust or dirt, the entire circuit may fail, which is not possible with polycrystalline panels.
